Conscious Consumers

Helping to inform your power to choose to make a positive impact on the planet

What is Conscious Consumerism?

A Conscious Consumer is a person who looks beyond the label of a product they are purchasing and aims to know more about the company they are buying their goods from and where that company has sourced them from. The priority for a Conscious Consumer is to make thoughtful shopping decisions with the goal of consuming less, minimizing waste, and prioritizing products which are underpinned by sustainable and regenerative industries. Conscious Consumers aim to support companies that follow higher ethical standards, produce more durable products, and ensure that goods are sourced within fair trade guidelines.

Conscious Consumers use their choice and spending-power to support businesses and products that align with nature-positive values. It is not just about what you buy, but what the impact of that product has been on the planet and the people around us.

Know the Source

Knowing where your product comes from can have a major bearing on your decision-making. Products sourced from regenerative enterprises with nature-friendly policies will make for healthier and more sustainable purchases.

Proactive Buying Habits

Think ahead and bring your own reusable packets, bottles and containers for fresh products when you can. This will reduce the need for packaging and minimize waste production.

Our Top 3 Conscious Consumer Tips

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Follow this order - one should always try to reduce the amount of waste produced first, then reuse things where you can, and finally recycle all plastics, paper, glass and other recyclable waste rather than dumping it into the general trash.
